Martinet Bru
Produced from three vineyards planted with different varieties that are co-fermented in concrete, there is a wonderful freshness to this wine. It has matured in oak foudres and barriques (25%) with a few months at the end in terracotta amphorae. It’s very relaxed and harmonious, approachable but not banal. 40,000 bottles produced.
Seamless, flowing dark schist-inflected fruit and ripe, fine sweet tannins. Notes of blackcurrant, wild blackberries and bramble with a crisp, rocky finish, lightly spiced with an aromatic floral quality. Full bodied from a small concentrated crop in 2017, and yet the wine feels open and relaxed. Quality, eminently drinkable Priorat.
